Hi, I’m Alise, of Kutstomed Hair Studio and Royal Roots Co.
My journey in the beauty industry began long before I became a licensed professional. At just 13 years old, I discovered my passion for creating hairstyles that helped people feel confident, beautiful, and seen. That passion led me to barber school in 2020, where I expanded my skills and turned a lifelong talent into a career dedicated to excellence.
Kutstomed Hair Studio was built on the belief that every client deserves more than just a hairstyle—they deserve an experience. Whether I’m creating precision braids, healthy locs, or natural styles, my goal is to provide quality work while helping every client leave my chair feeling empowered and confident.
As my career grew, I realized healthy hair starts long before the appointment. That vision inspired the creation of Royal Roots Co., a premium natural hair care line designed to nourish the scalp, encourage healthy hair growth, and simplify natural hair care with high-quality botanical ingredients. Every product reflects my commitment to healthy hair, education, and long-term results.
Building these businesses hasn’t always been easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve experienced setbacks, long days, self-doubt, and lessons that could only be learned through persistence. Those moments taught me that success isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency, faith, and refusing to give up on your vision.
Today, my mission extends beyond doing hair. I want to educate, inspire, and help others embrace healthy hair while building confidence from the inside out.
